What we do

We’re a safety training and consultancy practise based in Munster with over 20 years’ of both national and international experience, working with organisations to develop a safer working environment for all.

Our services can be divided into three main areas. Whether you need health safety consultancy, training consultancy or health and safety training, we can create the right package for you.

We don’t just help you be compliant; we impart our extensive knowledge and deliver training or consultancy that is practical, relevant to your needs and ensures you’re on the right track to developing and adopting a positive safety culture company-wide.

Our vision is to create more effective, safer workplaces by working with companies to adopt & promote new cultures where safety, health and wellness of employees is at the forefront. We base our ethos on the values of high professionalism, knowledge, quality customer service and making a positive difference.

We don’t believe that health and safety should be dull, boring and something that organisations dread doing, just to tick compliance boxes. We strive to make this an interesting, relevant and engaging experience that is easy to understand and implement and most importantly adds value to your organisation.

We always ensure that we keep abreast of every changing policies & legislations and couple this with our experience and knowledge to deliver the most meaningful and relevant consultancy or training experience.

About Lorraine

Lorraine is a safety professional with over 15 years’ experience in the General Construction, Heavy Civils, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Entertainment Industries. Having worked as a construction engineer, prior to engaging in health and safety, she has hands on experience across a wide range of large projects. Lorraine’s experience is broad which means she can pretty much turn her hand to anything. She has worked across multiple windfarm construction & operational sites in Ireland, developed health and safety requirements for family festivals and worked on large oil & gas sites in Northern Alberta Canada.

Lorraine’s pro-active approach to health & safety in the workplace, has seen her solve many problems with strategic, practical solutions over the years. She is a strong communicator with the ability to easily connect with people. This ability has allowed her to effectively mentor and coach multidisciplinary, multi-national workforces in adopting an excellent safety culture.

Qualifications

  • Higher Diploma Safety Health & Welfare at Work – UCC
  • Bachelor Science Construction Management – CIT

James Forrest, Training Development Manager

About James

James has over 10 years’ experience in the Construction, Oil & Gas and Environmental Services industries. Originally working in a trade background, he progressed into management roles prior to focusing his career in workplace training and development. Whilst in construction, James worked on multiple, large scale projects such as hotels, pharmaceutical, property & retail developments and nationally recognised universities; gaining huge hands on experience in site safety. From here he proceeded to work for a number of years as a Mechanical Supervisor and Project Coordinator on multiple large-scale oil extraction sites across Northern Alberta (Canada). During this time, he also developed his flair for delivering Health & Safety training and he became a qualified ‘train the trainer; in multiple safety related courses.

James also spent time in the environmental services sector as a Contracts Manager and managed multiple contracts within the HSE as well as a number of large facilities management companies nationwide. During this time, he also delivered training to clients on a regular basis and developed a range of tailored courses to suit their different industries.

He wants to make sure safety messages and training in general is delivered in a way that is simple, relevant & interesting. He is passionate about changing the way training is typically delivered by making it more engaging, targeted and personalised for both the client and the trainees.
